XFX PERFORMANCE GRAPHICS CARD

XFX is a leading maker of performance AMD graphics cards for gamers. For their top of the line card, the R9 390X, they desired a sophisticated modern housing that would complement the high performance AMD chipset under the hood. 

As lead designer, the proposed concept was to develop a housing that drew inspiration from faceted/tessellated surfaces. Looking at current industry trends, a mood board was created around a 'precision stealth' theme.

The final product uses a subtle tessellated pattern along with alternating piano gloss and satin matte finish to achieve a modern but aggressive looking graphic card.
